I guess so they can argue they aren’t being a drain on tax dollars… but I agree with you. They work for us, not a corporation. Or they should, at least.

That is I think, their argument. My argument is: follow the money.

I really don’t like Caitlyn Jenner. She’s blind to the problems her own community is facing, and continues to be willfully blind to them.

Starting the countdown clock to the revelation that he picked an NFL team owner because Nigel Farage is always going on about football whenever they hang out together…

If they’d said “he’s too narcissistic even by our standards” I’d have nodded my head in agreement, but not “traditionally American” means they don’t care about something so minor as a serious character deficiency (gee, I wonder why? ) and shows they’re not even bothering with dogwhistles anymore.

When you’re so racist that it’s just a part of who you are every day, it just spills out without you even realizing it, eh, Trump?

That makes us, the public, Hermes doesn’t it.

I’m convinced his transition team’s sole reference for the political system is Veep.

I wish I were optimistic enough to think that that had any reference whatsoever.

Even ignoring the obviously racist meaning, it’s not hard to question how “traditionally American” a man with four grandparents and a mother all born abroad is, anyway. West is much more “traditionally American” than Trump will ever be.

I think this is where a huge disconnect lies.

Even though I disagree with them, I can understand why someone in a deeply economically depressed area would see a savior in a “successful” businessman who promises to bring an economic revolution. I can understand why someone who hates Muslims would want to vote for someone who hates Muslims.

But I cannot possibly understand how someone can see him as an “honest” person when virtually every statement he makes is a verifiable lie. That’s not a political judgement, it’s simple truth versus falsehood.
