I actually plunked down ~2k for an e-bike a few years ago since I couldn’t drive due to a foot issue. Holy heck are those things worth it. They flatten the hills. And in stop-and-go commute traffic I’m still doing 20mph in the bike lane. Only problem is that they are heavy as hell so if your battery runs out of juice mid ride, you’re in for a good workout
Me too, but everyone has a different definition of badass machines. Mine would have more spikes. And fire. Of course it probably would no longer be street-legal
Oh jeeze. I’m 50 so I didn’t even think about the fact that a lot of these kids might have more wheel time in a racing simulator than in an actual car!
More likely they have played arcade racers like Need For Speed rather than racing simulators. Most of the racing simulators I have played have shown me that it would be a really bad idea for me to drive a super or hyper car IRL.
