What no wham he’s gone jokes?
And sometimes people in their 50s just have fatal heart attacks and die. Same for people in their 40s, and even 30s. It happens. I think appreciating every day we have as if it could be our last is the best way to combat this reality. You of course could be right about cancer or lifestyle, but I’m just saying a decent number of people also just die in their 50s (and younger) for other reasons, even out of the blue (apparently).
And RIP George Michael, goodness knows we could have used your frankness and strength in the coming times…
Is anyone else marginally creeped-out by people obliviously prefacing their condolences with reference to a meme?
And, like, not in a way meant to cause offence… which would at least make some kind of sense, but just as a way of taking part in the proceedings by referencing their awareness of a trend.
Srsly, I’m super concerned with this. lol
It’s still kinda fucked up.
He was such an inspiration. I have had a crush on him forever and am saddened by his passing. He was a unique and authentic voice. Thank you, brother George, for sharing your gifts - and your lift - with us.
This is the only worthwhile version IMO:

Even though I’ve been listening to that holiday album for the last few days…
ssshhhhhhh…now you’ve done it.
Seemed like he was just getting things back on track too…he just finished rehab and gotten clean again, made amends with his ex, etc. Life, appreciate it while you have it, eh?
Perhaps find out if he really is a Mossad agent?
So I’ve been told…and the person who told me Pam Ayres worked for SIS turned out to be right too.
It seems unlikely that a real Mossad agent would go to the media and claim to be working for that organisation. Its too much James Bond and not enough actual spook. I think Geller is a real bullshit artist personally.
I’ll take a cover of Last Christmas over A wonderful Christmas Time any day, honestly.
