Of course it will.

March 26, 2023, Washington D.C. - Speaker McCarthy today announced that the ethics investigation into Santos is being completed based on his plea deal with a Brazilian court. “Congressman Santos has taken the extraordinary step of working with another country’s court to clear his name, despite potential evidence showing it was not him but an unidentified woman who only seems to share his same facial bone structure and general build.” With the Ethics investigation concluded, Speaker McCarthy has updated his Facebook page and listed Santos on his main page, along with Speaker-in-training Majorie Green and made a note on his wall that they are “his homies”. Also, in an additional gesture of the strong support Santos is getting from the Republican party, AP has discovered that Senator Graham has reached out to Santos and invited him to be his guest at a few of his favorite clubs.

You think Fox will even mention he confessed?

Rember the good ole days when elected officials or candidates or nominees would withdraw or resign over things like not paying payroll tax on domestic employees.

I was really hoping for the Brazilian police to forcibly remove him from his office just in time for the evening news…

First honest thing he’s done, although of course it’s still the most self-serving option.

“Confession”, “confessed”, and “confess” will not be uttered… not when (see below) is available for right-wing mass consumption and regurgitation.
