It’s like he’s invoking Woody Guthrie because he doesn’t like that damn rap music.

Indeed. Rockwell may have created a lot of work that romanticized the American Dream, but he was hardly some starry eyed ultra-conservative who believed America was just fine and dandy as-is.

I too think that Trump should limit himself to AMERICAN artists for the White House. In fact, I would suggest the most American of artists, Norman Rockwell, and specifically his most American painting…[The-problem-we-all-live-with-norman-rockwell]
