I don’t drink. I knew someone who was killed by a drunk driver. I have zero sympathy for drunk drivers. This law is a travesty of justice, and is going to punish more innocent people than it will stop guilty ones. And it’s far too easy to weaponise. This needs to be struck down.
Did MADD write this law? This is great if you want license to arrest people because you don’t like the cut of their jib, or the color of their jib, more likely.
