Even more ironic, to me, was the way she kept repeating that she loved everyone…immediately after bearing false witness against anyone who didn’t agree with her hate and vitriol. You know, just like Christ would do. So glad to see there were some Christians schooling her in how to be an actual Christian (not that the lessons took).
But I did learn something from reading that screed: the reason she was so against her adult daughter’s marriage (and therefore had to murder her, and her sister too for good measure) was because the fiance wasn’t white. Oh, the horror.

I guess another possibility is that by that point in human history there will be new forces driving even more racial adaptations, like interplanetary colonization.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that there are still people out there who are cranked up about race-mixing, but somehow I am. Like, how are there people younger than I am who care about that?
ETA: I don’t know if the miscegenation thing has actually been verified, or if it’s just gossip at this point. But even if we don’t know for sure that Christy Sheats cared about it, that wackadoo lady with the blog sure does.

This needs to be emphasised.
A major part of the NRA’s bullshit mental health deflection tactic is an attempt to erase the difference between “acute psychotic episode of a severity sufficient to mitigate criminal responsibility” and “has, at some point in their life, recieved treatment for a psychological issue, regardless of severity”.
Probably a majority of Americans fall into the second category (especially given the USA’s infamous tendency towards therapy-for-everyone). Very few people qualify for the first category.
