@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 8 vs Dodge-12 for the first attack (5,2,1) @Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 15 vs Dodge-12 for the second attack (5,6,4)
Step into close combat, all-out attack (double), telegraphic grapple the torso (both arms) and a telegraphic knee strike to the groin.
Grapple is against DX-14, lowered to 12 by shock, raised to 16 by telegraphic.
Knee strike is Brawling-1 for 14; shock penalty lowers that to 12; telegraphic raises it to 16. Knee strikes can target the groin of a foe grappled from the front at no penalty.
If the grapple succeeds, it adds an All-Out Attack (Strong) bonus to the knee strike, as per the Grab and Smash sidebar in Martial Arts.
@discbot roll 3d6 vs 16 to grapple @discbot roll 3d6 vs 16 to knee
Well, at least Iām still conscious (for now.) This would be an ideal time to try at attack, except for all those inconvenient penalties for being grappled and in shock. Honestly, thereās not a lot I can do except try to Break Free.
Quick Contest of my ST(10) vs. your ST+5 (15) ⦠no shock penalty to ST rolls for me.
Iām going to try a futile Dodge(9) ⦠letās see thatās -2 for the grapple ⦠I donāt think Iām missing any other penalties, nor is it likely to matter that much!
Hmm. Unless I can All Out Defend for +2 to Dodge? (I know I canāt parry with a staff without steep penalties.)
