Reminiscent of Reagan’s oh-so hilarious “we begin bombing in five minutes” joke, except that even Reagan wasn’t dumb enough to make those remarks on the record.
Ha ha ha. It’s funny because apocalypse.
Happy Nuclear Winter everymutant!
Dear USSC:
“Watch to the end” indeed.
Agreed. It obviously causes much shrinkage between the legs which can only be remedied with a strap-on missile dick.
God, even when I was in the service I thought these jingoistic armament fetish videos were creepy. I was no where near nukes, though.
Interestingly, after I was discharged I went to college meet miles away from Whiteman. I would see the B2s fly off on sorties and imagine that at least part of the time humans were about to be indiscriminately slaughtered.
“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.” -Revelation 6:8
I’m not sure what the problem with this is. That is literally their reason for existing, and strategic deterrence doesn’t work if nobody knows they’re there.
You think any hostile nations are going to forget we have nuclear weapons if we don’t make occasional jokes about raining down atomic death on New Year’s Eve?
You can’t see this is the equivalent of sitting in your porch with a loaded shotgun promising the kids “good ventilation” if they don’t get off your yard.
You don’t have to look very far to find people who find that to be acceptable behavior as well.
Who is it exactly, that somehow doesn’t realize that the US has nukes… hmmm?
It will never be normal to me that government agencies have social media accounts. Does U.S. Strategic Command sell knitted goods on Etsy and play World of Warcraft too?
JFC. They’re going to get us all killed.
I wonder how many furloughed federal employees would have had a paycheck if the fucking morons in the military had not made that ridiculous video.
The explosion at the end wasn’t nuclear, it might have been the MOAB or some other big conventional explosive. The message is more “We’re always ready to bomb small countries back to the stone age” than “We’re preparing for nuclear holocaust”, which is an improvement unless you happen to live in one of those small countries.
