No, it had some good stuff in there (such as putting in more people who can process the backlog, etc), but some not so great things too (shutting down the border, narrowing what counts as viable asylum case, etc).
Otherwise, she packed that house and brought the energy. I would not be surprised if they get only half that number, in part because most of his hardcore voters don’t live inside the perimeter, and would probably be scared to go down “there”… (this was being held at the GSU Convocation hall, which is on campus, which is literally right downtown).

I think so… they very much did try and give the GOP as much red meat as possible to get the bill across the finish line… and then Trump childishly demanded that they vote against it, because he needed something to run on… Thing is, we DO need immigration reform. Obviously. We just don’t need it driven by fucked up xenophobic/racist views.

I’m happy to say that I was there with my wife. We somehow got placed in the mosh pit in front of the stage. It was very hot and sweaty in there, but people were having a good time, energy was high. The “say it to my face” line definitely got the biggest reaction of everything Harris said.
If it’s as hot in there when Trump speaks Saturday, and he drones on for 90 minutes like he does, those old racists in the audience are going to be dropping like flies.
