Everybody wants a piece of the Wall Pie:

Keyword Search: “Border wall”

Note: Look at all the big money spent in prior years to defense contractors vs. now where monies are shifting to smaller mom and pop shops like the Fishers.

Concrete. Huh.

Massively environmentally problematic.

But…
I truly hate to admit it: an elegant solution to building miles of wall.

Opiates, tear gas, border walls. . . there’s money to be made people!

Whoever the DEM nominee is, all they have to say is “do you want a border wall or do you want health insurance? Because Donald wants to use our taxes for a wall that’s not really necessary when our money could be going towards keeping our families healthy, and keeping you from losing your house to the bank. You know something we all really truly need and will make our lives better.

I’d prefer dining tables myself:

As someone who grudgingly produces corporate videos, this one really turns my stomach. I can’t imagine producing the animations about building the wall, let alone the wall itself. Just shows how many collaborators are necessary to perpetrate this kind of despicable atrocity.

We aren’t so much “the land of opportunity” anymore. Now we are the land of extremists, gun nuts, racists, goofballs, and wackaloons.

But, all those impending brown skinned people poised to invade! Fear, fear, fear, stupidity.

People don’t fear medical bills because they plan to live forever. That, and their faith that God won’t go anything bad to them. But they do fear the “others.” Especially with the signal boost from the fear mongers. The same fear mongers who have stock portfolios and investments in the “fixes” for the fears, as well as the current healthcare fuckery we find ourselves in.

The henhouse is chock full of foxes.

Hmmm… That didn’t really go well for the original natives of this country. I agree with the sentiment though, provided there’s nobody hiding in the bushes waiting to make a buck or a statement.

Not since the 1940s have we seen such engineering and design efficiency applied to a programme of xenophobia and hate. Congratulations, Fisher Industries, you’re well on the way to securing the Organisation Todt Award.

10 years! 10 YEARS! Jesus H Christ, as if it wasn’t apparent this is a massive boondoggle. It’s a money sink! I mean, tons of public works end up costing way more time and money than initially budgeted. This project is one continuous project. IF they got it done in 10 years, they will just have to go back and start to repair the stuff they first laid down 10 years ago that got damaged by the elements.

All in the interest of “security”.

By the time the wall is finished its role will have changed from “keeping Mexicans out” to “keeping Americans in.”

And yet,

Senator Kramer suggested Fisher’s Fox News appearances are what attracted Trump to the company.

I suspect the videos to sell weapons systems to the Pentagon are similar.

Hmm. It’s on their own YouTube channel too.

“Exceeds All Specifications”

Nyet. Trumpski wants his Wall to be transparent so that someone on the US side can see if someone on the other side is throwing something over the wall. Or something like that. It was never entirely clear to me what the DOTUS wants out of his Wall except an election issue to fire up his racist/xenophobic cult.

Communists were able to do a faster job in 1961.
This is clearly a fail of the capitalist society.

Yes, but no-one made a profit from the work. This is clearly a fail of the communist society.

Question - Which will take longer: the permitting and lawsuits or the actual construction?
