I doubt Trump wanted the $2000 relief passed, he just wanted the credit for offering it, which is better in his mind. He didn’t really want the Biden term to start with people having food and a roof.

Sanders will block, at once doing the right thing and giving Dems cover as he is not a Dem. McConnell has not won yet.
