So these republicans are calling on an elected official to resign because they say he lied? (scuze me: “provided a false narrative”) I understand that they as trump sycophants don’t embrace the irony of that, but couldn’t the media at large at least point it out - all the while keeping a careful count of trump’s lies?

And this after NUNES for fuck’s sake?! The Democrats need to roll up their sleeves, and start calling out the GOP at large as being a totally corrupt entity. AOC is in the right territory, and Warren, and a few others. But the Dems need to get this down as a party. No need to pretend “we’re all friends here” any longer. A “Cold Civil War” is fully under way at this point, and we need to acknowledge it.

The GOP is always quick to ask for a DEM to resign over something they themselves would never resign over.
It’s all politics to them, they viewed the entire Mueller investigation as a political issue, not a criminal issue, so now they’re trying to score political points off what they claim is an exoneration of the president, and even want to bring criminal charges against the FBI for the investigation. They will not give this up until they are driven from office. The long battle is working on another blue wave in 2020, which will mean impeachment if Trump survives, or a Democratic president if he doesn’t.
