They took her door. Anything that you could see from the doorway would likely fall under plain view at that point. Which according to accounts, is most of what you need to be able to see in order to determine if the furnishings were similar, etc.
You don’t need a warrant to be able to take pictures of things in plain view. You do need one to take things from the residence, or look for things that aren’t in plain view.
