I was expecting a higher number. In no way trying to excuse it, but that’s small potatoes compared to the billions redirected to friends, family, and business interests (wall, Blackwater, etc).

Hmmm, if only someone could mobilize to make a lot of room reservations and then not ever show up or pay…I wonder if that’s a thing. 
But to the main point, like others, I’m surprised the number isn’t higher. I remember in the months after he took office there were already reports of the stupid golf cart rental and other fees required of the captive audience of the secret service.
