Given that Trump’s first run was itself a “Producers” style scam, for which he’s inexplicably (so far) avoided facing the consequences of his crimes, it feels appropriate.

Fleecing the willfully stupid has always been profitable. it is what keeps religion going in general.
I have too much of a sense of ethics to do it but I sort of admire the ones who can pull off a big con like this.
You cannot educate such people. I once watched a guy with a small table working the classic three card Monte on a street in downtown Los Angeles and a crowd formed of people shoving money at him to try their “luck”.
