To be fair, for the most part there is very little Marxism in any declared “Marxist” countries. We really don’t see much in the way of workers owning the means of production anywhere. So arguably, the term “Marxist” has come to mean resembling countries that call themselves “Marxist.” Which mostly means state (rather than worker) control of the economy when it means anything.

The Trump-appointee judge passed it to the worst fossil on the bench, so it’ll probably be a while before this stupid SLAPP is knocked down. (Hopefully with costs awarded.)

Well there’s currently a motion by the defendants to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction. Which, as someone currently actively studying the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for the bar exam, should be a no brainer. X Corp is incorporated in Nevada and has its principal place of business in California. Media Matters is incorporated in DC and has its principal place of business there. There is no universe in which Texas is the proper jurisdiction or venue.
