Mine were by the same pharmacist too. However everyone else in the extended family was not. I had mine in the local pharmacy and everyone else did it at the government sites where there are 15-20 people giving the shots and those are rotating to some degree.

There are a few ways she can help out.

Put her in a hazmat suit to contain internal/external microbes and make her change bedpans, and test her daily for COVID-19.

Exposing her to the carnage that covidiots can cause could get her to understand the severity of her actions.

There’s a third, harsher, and non-ideal path in which she contracts and succumbs from the disease and her genes are removed from the pool, and joins the list of other right-wing nutjobs who didn’t make it, and in turn serves as a cautionary tale to others.

There are literally people denying it to their dying breath. Ideology is a hell of a drug… such realities might not convince her.
And given that many hospitals are overwhelmed, and workers are overworked, I seriously doubt that wan to have to instruct a self-involved individual who clearly doesn’t give a shit about public health…

The women who checked us in at the Detroit Medical Center wrote stuff on our cards, as did the two nurses at uptake. The nurses who gave us our shots may have written on our cards…I sat down and just looked away b/c hate needles, so doubtless missed some details there. I don’t remember whether the nurses who kept watch over us for the post-shots 15 min waiting period wrote on our cards or not.

It is because we are requiring either the vaccine or negative test to fly here; you can carry your disease to Skokie by car.
I’m pretty upset that she was caught at the airport on her way back home; that means she traveled here without the vax or test. Things have gone out of control here in a very short time; here’s today’s graph:
I hope some would-be tourists see this and decide to go somewhere else. Skokie, for example, is a nice place to visit.

Or after the Trump progeny. Though “the Jared variant” is a good way to remember the legacy of the guy who frittered away our time when we should have been implementing a testing program and getting companies to make PPE like our lives depended on it. As our lives depended on it.

That was mainly my point, that in the collective mentality, Skokie lacks the desirability of the others, while Hawaii keeps getting pummeled by assholes who want to while away the pandemic in a bougie setting.

That said, here in Illinois, the vaccines are all tracked in a handy state database, so it’s not going to help to fake the card.

I don’t disagree about their inability to do proper research or use sound reasoning, but none of that information helps me quench my thirst to see these people get punished for the harm they can cause.
The best analogy I can make is with drunk drivers. Sure, there are those that have been driving drunk for decades and haven’t harmed anybody, but that certainly doesn’t make it a good idea. And once evidence comes to light that a person does this there are laws in place to curtail that behavior. By the same token, I wish that if a person becomes a certified covidiot that there would be something in place to curtail their ability to participate in society.

All the “let her work in a covid ward” solution is doing is punishing health care workers even more. It’s not THEIR responsibility to instruct others. So, no, making her work in a covid ward is a terrible solution.
There are plenty of laws on the books to deal with [people like that. How about we stop trying to shape our entire society around a vocal minority?
