I saw on the news that they weren’t evacuating, and I was happy that the humans were there for the kittehs.* I heard a news channel interview the curator yesterday and he sounded very chipper. Besides the house being an incredibly strong structure, it sounds like the worst of the hurricane hit the middle and upper keys.
(*We rented the house next to this place in the late 90s…polydactyl kitties visited us all the time to escape the tourists…b/c cats want to love on their terms.)
