Groovy and trippy.
And this video is obviously making the rounds this morning as I heard the riffs and narration coming from the Mrs’s computer an hour earier.

Also in before @Papasan
I’m drinking coffee right now!

Yeah, it’s really a pro-drug PSA encouraging the use of any stimulant.

Two things:

  1. nice to see at least one POC in this '68 whatever-it-is (00:43).
  2. anyone have a clue what make/model is that funky sports car at 01:23? The roof cut-outs for the door are very distinctive and I’m trying to decide if it’s a one-off build or an actual production line vehicle of the era. Maybe a Mk1 GT40 with split inverse scoop instead of a single (https://www.carthrottle.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/ford-gt-door-open.jpg)…or since it’s British, maybe a Lola Mk6 variant?
    Thanks!

This is wonderfully like a parody of a '60s commercial.

Perhaps from the same people who ordered the “coffee achiever” ads in the 80s? They too were just for “coffee,” and no particular brand.

this looks like it was filmed during one of the Velvet Underground’s shows. same light effects, same general scene. i’m digging the couple dressed all in white. i think they look stylish.

The man in the red scarf + hat reminds me of Robert Maplethorpe about that time.

This seems like a deceptive ploy from the conservative coffee & cigarettes faction.

I have always disliked both. You’ll never get me to switch. You hear me? NEVER!

That said, where did I put my Irish Breakfast tea?
