I fought the law and, the law won
I shot the judges, but I didn’t shoot the witnesses

White Castle’s after midnight. It’s dinner and a show. Grab some sliders, sit comfortably and enjoy the varied spectacle of human existence.

That disdain Wisconsinites have for Illinoisans?

We kinda feel that way about Hoosiers. This is why.

I’m confused. Seems like this is news for the sake of news. Other than the one getting convicted for his role in the physical altercation, it seems like none of the judges here did anything particularly wrong.

Other judges judged the judges and judges judged the judges to not be judges.

In other words, it’s not just how you judge those judges, and whether what they did was wrong.

They should have raped someone instead: fast track to the Supreme Court.

Did they order 800?

Who among us hasn’t been there at a White Castle at some point in their lives…of course most of us were 18…

So, a bunch of judges were getting sliders very late at night because they were drunk, and two men in a passing car did the usual nonsense to the woman (who happened to be a judge) and she gave them the finger, and then they escalated and the two male judges with her defended her.

Yes, they were all drunk, but somehow the instigating action – which every woman here has experienced a gazillion times – isn’t the problem, but the woman reacting to it is…because women who are sloppy drunk are responsible for whatever happens to them.

I mean, yes, there’s a lot of blame to pass around here, but at the core of it, two male judges defended a female judge who was being harassed by strange men in a car, who then reacted by shooting them.

Um… an altercation that ends with anyone being shot is a shooting, not a “brawl.”

Also what Liz said, about this story being spun to put all the onus for this foolishness on the one judge who just happened to be female.

Did anyone else start fondly thinking of good ol’ Night Court? A relic of a more innocent time.

This is worth posting again for those who haven’t seen it. Especially because it’s so darn captivating.

Hmmm; a possible murder/suicide gangland slaying, possibly perpetrated by an off-duty naval officer, in the early evening between the hours of midnight and 2 a.m. Something seems off here …

But the reporting needs to be “spicy!”

They’d definitely be choosing from a group similar to Kavanaugh - people who have so much to drink they can’t recall what they said or did. :unamused:
