Shoot - only a year, max? They deserve a lot more. I’m not sure their fucking around has had sufficient finding out to dissuade them from future fuckery.

Yes, but a plea means they give up their right to appeal (i.e. delay), and they go right to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. I’ll take it. I don’t know if a fine is part of the sentence or if the $5.1 million mentioned in the article is something else, but that’ll leave a mark, hopefully.

Legal commentator Ken White has been predicting Jacob will eventually commit a “Big Boy Federal Felony” for years now…
This one isn’t quite there (it’s a state felony) but he’s well on his way!
