Thank goodness I live in an area where, when a crazy MAGA lady started complaining loudly to the local media about a bakery selling “gay” cookies, all it did was increase said bakery’s sales.

Without any advance notice, today’s campaign stop caused some momentary confusion for our staff.
This is the difference between a smooth campaign stop and this shambles.
It must be very difficult for the Vance campaign staff to ditch its sense of entitlement and lack of competence and imagination. I have no doubt someone – perhaps prompted at the last minute by one of the MAGAts inside – decided “Harris showed up at the restaurant, so we should too.”

Vance sounds like the kind of guy who shows up drunk three minutes before closing time and demands staff reopen the kitchen to cook him the most labor intensive item on the menu…
then throws a rock through the window when they say no.

As difficult as it was for Vance to order a donut, I’d worry about what he would do when confronted by a sandwich containing meat, cheese, vinegar-based coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, an egg, and french fries.
