I particularly hope it doesn’t count as derailing any discussion of Night Court.
I mean, I still have mental scars from seeing a performance of Harry Anderson’s “needle through arm” magic trick as a child; I’d be terrified to upset him!

I once helped to run a horror freeform RPG at a Sydney gaming convention.
The framing story was that all of the players had been inmates at a particularly twisted orphanage, where all sorts of satanic pseudoscientific experimentation had been going on. The setting was the twentieth anniversary reunion of the survivors.
So, we had about fifty PCs, all subject to traumatic flashbacks.
One of the tricks we used as the GMs was to prepare a collection of syringes that we removed the needles from before replacing the caps. At random moments during the game, we’d grab one of the players, spin them around, and then rapidly uncap the syringe (fast enough that the players couldn’t see that the needle was missing) and slam it into our own jugular.
It was quite effective.
