Last night I watched American Experience about the bombing of Wall Street in 1920. With bolsheviks and anarchists rounded up and deported (mostly Italians then) some who were citizens of the USA. Known as the Palmer raids and gave us J Edgar Hoover and the red scare. Not a lot has changed except the ethnicity of those we hate.

If there is some attempt in the coming years to make this regime permanent, ICE will be easily re-purposed into its domestic political enforcement arm. The agency and its union are already the most loyal LEOs to Il Douche, they’re suitably corrupt and cruel, their enforcement jurisdiction covers a large geographic area of the domestic U.S., and they have their own prisons.

Ask ICE if they care about what some “activist judge” (ICE / CBP / Trumpist speak for "follows the rule of law) thinks.

Until these abusers of power are held responsible and stripped of that power, from the top down, nothing will change. Nor, lest any of the rest of us get too complacent, is this something uniquely American. They just happen to be the current object lesson.
