How about a camera app that streams your photos to a server maintained by a law firm? If you had some sort of contract with the firm to host your photos, could you argue that the photos are protected by attorney-client privilege?

Perhaps, except that there are laws already in place to protect the media and their freedom to report. If i was a journalist i would openly take pictures, have them encrypted and synced online or published immediately.
