It’s amazing all that dangerous violent stuff that people were doing but all the cameras never managed to see any of it. And it couldn’t possibly be that people were heard saying that the Justice System needs to be burned down and something better built in its ashes. Or that the Portland cops just made shit up so they could read the Riot Act.
2nd video: someone kicked in a window, and there was a tiny fire. ONOZ it is truly the end of civilisation. The reporter keeps talking about things which you would have thought they had footage of. Strange that there is no footage of any of it. I’m not saying it’s being set up, but this seems more like a news report from The Running Man movie with Schwarzenegger.
Not surprising, but tragic; more so because I believe this was really the “US v. Brownshirts” decision. Every stage of this trial has been a clear message that private citizens who undertake violent political repression will be protected, and that they can better themselves by committing such acts.
I fear we will see a lot more AR-15’s on the street during elections and times of protest, and I think they will organized by right-wing political interests, with ready defense funds and support for those who do harm.
Apologists will be ready to explain that when right-wing demonstrators carry guns it is merely a symbolic expression of their determination to “protect our freedoms” and if anyone does start shooting the other side will be responsible for provoking them.
Me thinks this will be the internship from hell, for Rittenhouse.
