In 1994 the National Wood Flooring Manufacturers’ Association (NOFMA) decided they were so fed up with the supposed anti-timber-industry message in Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax that they published a parody/pro-logging book called The Truax.
Like most Dr. Seuss parodies it misses the mark on what makes the original so charming and appealing in the first place. For one thing, they packed way too much text on each page and none of the rhymes are especially whimsical or clever.

I have heard exactly no people in my work whispering anything against masks or vaccinations.
Mask wearing and vaccination are general here (you occasionally see a dicknose when you are out shopping, but not many, vaccination is 75% of entire population) but Covid is absolutely rampant. Like we’ll be hitting British levels in a week or two at this rate.
