many of the insights contained within dworkin"s right wing women are still useful today. while her rhetoric can seem overheated, i believe that what she gets right greatly overshadows the trends she misidentified or were playing out by the time she wrote it. the book is definitely not meant to be “inclusive” in the sense of being aimed at the titular group as well as for those on the left. it’s meant, instead, to give those on the left a sense of why the so-called “conservative” project might appeal to women of the right. in those terms it is still very useful since much more has stayed the same over the 40 years since it was published than have truly changed.
