The Defense Department?
How much of your 401k have you invested in Russia today, kiddo?
Sunk cost fallacy strikes again!
Can you make money here buying at this bottom? Maybe, unlikely. Can you make back everything you lost and make a good rate of return over what you lost?
No, you cannot.
Move what? The Russians wonβt let you move that money out of Russia now, theyβve probably already tabled a law that all investments from an Unfriendly Nation are nationalised, and what started at $300Mil is now worth about $2.50.
oh dear sweet baby jeebus! not the dread socialist Universal Pre-K?! and cliβ¦
wait. what?
WTF, Marsha? how did you get there?
Letβs check the numbers on that claimβ¦
Ouch. Numbers donβt lie, Marsha. Your team sucks at the economy.
Carter, βthe greatest example of democratic party failureβ is edged out by, what, .05(?), by the βgreatest Republican everβ. Sounds about right. Interesting that overall as wealth concentration increases over time the growth of GDP is also strangled. Nothing to see here
It should also be noted that Obamaβs record is blunted by 9 months of sharp negative growth from the W catastrophe. If you correct for the Shrub Hangover, GDP growth during Obama was 4% and Shrubβs was slightly negative.
#Mansema on that shit.
Well yeah, the cycle is always that democrats have to clean up Republican messes (though Obama was also cleaning up Clintonβs long term mess)
oh they know. they just think their constituents donβt
Fuck Racism?
So, a pink flag for EMS, but no pink for βtittiesβ (breast cancer symbol)? Thatβs a very convoluted brain, and yet apparently connected to our medical system.
I wonder if that person, in their squirrelly little mind (see above) thinks that the problem is the concept/theory of racism. Itβs like saying βfuck CRTβ.
Or, someone came by and decided to commit a small act of vandalism!
Hmmm⦠I dunno why but I suspect some one in this chain of influence needs to stop stealing meds from patients.
Because the demographic falls asleep before 7pm?
DOES THE LAW DO ANYTHING ELSE?
A less-talked-about aspect of the law requires districts to notify parents of health care services offered in schools and give them the option to decline them.
Districts will also be required to notify parents if there is any change in a studentβs mental, emotional or physical health monitoring.
Republicans have said the law is intended to keep parents informed of what children learn and are exposed to in schools. Under a similar rationale, DeSantis last week signed a bill that gives parents a say in what books schools can and canβt have in their libraries and requires elementary schools to provide a searchable list of every book available or used in instruction.
So this is even shitty for binary, straight students too. Potentially gives abusive parents quite a lot of power.
I mean of course. This is all for people who fear they donβt have enough control over their kids. And the people who are the most motivated to control their kids at all costs are always going to be the ones who have something real and immediately consequential to fear from losing control.
Similarly the laws about trans girls are going to end up with dudes poking and prodding the vaginas of cis children to⦠uh⦠keep them safe from pervs but people are too hyped up on hatred and fear to see the actual threats for what they are.
Itβs sad when I consider that at least some people must really believe theyβre protecting children rather than making them vulnerable to predators and abusers.
