I couldn’t find if there’s already a thread or mention elsewhere about the grounding of US flights today, but this part could NOT go without mention.
Meanwhile, the top Republican on that committee, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, said the “FAA’s inability to keep an important safety system up and running is completely unacceptable and just the latest example of dysfunction within the Department of Transportation.”
It’s just…who see’s that kind of statement from this guy, of all people, and gives it any credence at all??? I feel like Stewie.

Looks like a big part of them getting that spot is their affordable housing, compared to median income. But here’s what goes into the ranking:
I’m sure there are flaws, but it’s something, at least. And sure as heck shows they have plenty more important things to be spending legislative time and energy on that worrying whether a cardigan counts as a jacket.
