More like financial mismanagement and greed. Too many colleges and universities raise tuition every year. Administrations and staff associated with sports are well paid, while too many doing the actual teaching struggle to make ends meet. Just like corporations, too much of the money flows to the top and stays there. Not sure if an audit requirement would shine more light on this, but even when called out publicly TPTB don’t make significant changes.

I hate how folks think homogeneity is some how better when in practice it’s heterogeneity that leads to better outcomes across the board: culturally, technologically, financially, and even genetically. Stuff that’s mixed up does better since it has more options. Don’t like it, Orban, then go be some weirdo that lives in a village with all the other weirdos at the weirdo village.
