So Gavin McInnes is a comedian huh? Thatβs some exceptional use of the βjust jokingβ defense.
Do physical comedians get to punch him?
Only if they have rolls of quarters in their fists, since SCOTUS ruled that money is speech.
I did see an interview of three Georgians on CNN. Two women said it wouldnβt change their mind but one man said heβs voting for Kemp and Warnock.
Fingers crossed that where there is one who goes on record, there are others.
There is no end in sight to the trans panic. Iβm really dreading how much worse things are going to get.
Maybe we can call Gallagher out of retirement.
Thatβs 40% of people who would change their vote based on this one issue. Seems high to me, not low. Kind of a weird title.
In the meanwhile when the republicans were staying silent on a guy who said that actors were used to evoke sympathy to push policyβ¦
Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson was debating Democratic challenger Mandela Barnes last night and the final question of the evening was a prompt asking each candidate to say one positive thing about the other.
Barnes praised Johnson for being a dedicated family man. Johnson then declared that Barnes hated America, drawing loud booing from the audience.
Even for a member of a party that has built its entire modern identity around being mean it is hard to imagine why Johnson thought that answer would go over well.
He sends a fundraising letter to my dad every week. The dad who has been dead for 4 years (Iβm in his house now). I figure allowing him to continue wasting money on this futile effort is one small attempt to help his opponent.
Yeah, in fall of 2020 I was really annoyed with all the targeted online political ads I was receiving for Trump and others, but I took some solace in the knowledge that every penny spent on shoveling that stuff my way was money not spent on people who might be convinced to vote for the guy.
And those were LOUD boos, too! Wow! He struck a nerve didnβt he?
I imagine because Johnson and his ilk all think that everyone is just as bitter and hate-filled as they areβ¦
Coming on the heels of some loud laughter earlier in the debate when Johnson claimed heβd been set up by the FBI.
I donβt know if debates really change a lot of votersβ minds anymore but it seems safe to say Ron Johnson did not endear himself to this particular audience.

Truth Social, the Twitter alternative backed by former President Donald Trump, is now available for download in the Google Play Store following months of being blocked over violent content.
Googleβs reversal indicates that itβs now satisfied that Truth Social can follow its guidelines.
I strongly doubt it, same with political advertising. I believe the influence that either might have is on whether people vote at all (or try to).
As tight as every election seems to be these days, it only takes a little bit at the margins to make a difference. I will certainly take every possible advantage we can get.
And that was after the βgood upbringingβ dogwhistle.
