The other way people talk about filling in the lost revenue from gas taxes (in order to maintain roads) is a mileage tax. That could be applied equally regardless of the type of vehicle. But ends up with a lump sum that really hurts lower income people.
Unless they find a way to collect monthly or something?
Right. Just like those of us without children in the system get a fair say in funding public education under these crummy voucher programs.
