Maybe it’s a transatlantic thing, but much as I loathe Trump, I don’t find it amusing. It just leaves me cold. Perhaps I’m immune to laughter tracks.
He’s not insane (by syphillis or anything else), he’s a fascist.
Good luck with that; we all know he’s provably an asshole and won’t make excuses for him.
Apparently the Pacific is a similar barrier. But the track itself seems a bit muddled – some of the responses sound like they’re agreeing with him.

That was my thought, too: the laugh track almost seems like they’re laughing at the people Trump is talking about (i.e. the non-fascists).
I think it would have been more effective if people had been booing and heckling him.
