What exactly is a “product specialist”? I get that some jobs are hard to describe in a couple words, but surely there’s a better term than that?
Continuing the tradition of Alex Trebek’s snappy suits.
What people don’t realize is that the title Jeopardy! actually comes from the fact that if you end with a negative balance, you have to pay it. True story.
I thought Mr Burton did a fine job last night – but the timed-out signal didn’t work some of the time, and he was forced to call it. Something was a little off with that. Anyway, I thought he was rock solid.
Also, that was a dapper looking suit.
What exactly is a “product specialist”?
Salesman.
After watching that episode, I figured he would end up on You Tube, for sure.
Didn’t think he would be mentioned here, but I also didn’t know he set a record.
Good to see LeVar hosting.
Hoarder.
I commented on Reddit that it reminded me of Kevin Costner in Tin Cup. He just kept hitting ball after ball after ball into the drink, and unto the gates of Hell.
Patrick also had incredible poise and cool doing it, which reminded me of Galaxy Quest’s “Never give up; never surrender!”
And, like every third placer every day, he still won $1,000.
“It was the greatest 12 of all time. No one’s going to remember the Open 10 years from now, who won…but they’ll remember your 12! My, God, Roy, it was…Well, it’s immortal!”
“Fountain View?” Where exactly is that?
Just south of Falo Alto.
As usual, there’s a Simpsons joke about that.
Here’s a bit of strategy: If you’re not sure you know the answer, don’t buzz in. Otherwise, you’ll eventually wind up with a negative balance.
Fountain Valley, CA, but yeah…
I really felt for the guy. He was really digging hard trying to get to the bottom of that hole.
There are people who say “it’s better to make a bad impression than no impression at all”, however I am not one of those people.
-$7,400? I could beat that.
