I’m certain the team has already very carefully built the case and it will be relatively straightforward for one of the existing team members to step up and continue the work. I believe the maxim is “don’t ask a question to which you don’t already know the answer.”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed a law Wednesday allowing a commission to begin sanctioning and removing prosecutors in the state, which could potentially disrupt Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s prosecution against former President Trump.
“This legislation will help ensure rogue and incompetent prosecutors are held accountable if they refuse to uphold the law,” Kemp said before signing the bill.

Shame on Willis for bringing her boyfriend into the case, making such an important case (although it applies to any case) even a question, but even if they were banging on top of the documents proving Trump’s guilt, I never saw how Willis should have been removed because of it.
She made a dumb decision but it had zero impact to the findings.

So tired of hearing this self righteous criticism, when many straight White men do shit like this (and worse) on a regular basis.
I’m not saying that Ms. Willis did not make an unwise choice; I’m saying maybe hold White men to that exact same standard.

I’m not forgiving anyone, no matter their skin shade or sexual orientation - sleeping with your workers is a flat out bad idea. It has nothing to do with her being a black woman.

Wilson wasn’t an employee when they started the relationship, he was a private attorney.
Willis did make a bad judgment call, but that bad judgment call was “hiring a special prosecutor on the government’s dime without disclosing the fact that the two were in a relationship,” not “initiating an improper relationship with an employee.”
If she owes anyone an explanation or an apology it is the taxpayers of Georgia, not Trump’s team or anyone else associated with this case.

The fact that they went after her IS due to her race and gender. Plenty of people see her as an interloper, because of that. If you can’t see that, maybe you need to listen to people who are telling so.
It doesn’t. They were throwing shit at a wall to see what would stick in order to derail the case. They do not want Trump held responsible for what he is doing to our country. But, once again, Black women get held responsible for that rather than the white men who are so fucking intent on destroying all of us who dare to demand equality.

When she hired Wade (which, BTW, it was NOT established that they started dating prior to him being hired), she hired at least 2 others to help with the case. Presumably one of those can/will take over.
