MAGA Sen. John Kennedy begs for more humiliation from ER doctor (video)

Greater Chicago has twice the population of Louisiana
Also urban areas supposedly have higher murder rates, but Chicago’s is lower than that of the state of Louisiana as a whole, so no, it is not a false equivalency

Truly. What rankles me though is that universally horrible people who are horribly wealthy do seem to stick around annoyingly longer due to having ready access to the absolute best health care over the course of their entire lives. And that rich/poor life expectancy gap is getting worse.

(Same folks have gun violence solved: Exclusive gated guarded communities; secure high-rise abodes; personal guards; and secure limo pick-ups. Isolation from the hoi polloi is the key.)

The depressing part - and as much as folks on here can see through the charade - is that many of Kennedy’s voting constituents lap this all up.

For the sake of accuracy, Austin may be known for its Weird, but both periods when I lived there (at least 8 years combined) there was a plentiful supply of assholes.

Some of them may or may not have actually been from El Paso.

Not if you are comparing per capita stats. The argument is always that “that city of millions has more gun deaths than this town of 2500.” None of the numbers are meaningful unless you know the denominator. And on that basis, red states are far more dangerous than blue states or cities.
