Simple enough, name a movie to remake with a Muppet cast.
Any genre you like, but you can keep just ONE human actor.
For example:
Escape From New York
Keep Lee Van Cleef

Escape From New York

The Empire Strikes Back
Morgan Freeman as Yoda.
Dune.
Keep Patrick Stewart as Gurney
The Princess Bride.
Keep Peter Falk to tell the tale (to Robin).
Kermit as Wesley, Piggy as Buttercup, Gonzo as Inigo, Sweetums as Fezzig, Fozzie as Vizzini.
The Dark Knight
Kermit as Bruce Wayne/Batfrog
Fozzie Bear as the Joker
Sam Eagle as Commissioner Gordon
Miss Piggy as Rachel Dawes
Professor Honeydew as Lucius Fox
Gonzo as Harvey Dent/Blue-Face
Keep: Michael Caine as Alfred
ETA: Looks like some internet denizens have already been thinking along similar lines based on the fan art out there.
That’d put Michael Caine in TWO muppet movies!
Cider House Muppets
The Ipcress Muppet
Billion Dollar Muppet
The Italian Muppet
I think I’ve found a problem with the rules.
Funeral in Berlin Muppets.
Alien
Keep Ian Holm as Ash
Miss Piggy as Ripley
Kermit as Dallas
Janice as Lambert
Fozzie as Parker
Gonzo as Kane
Pepe the Prawn as the Chestburster.
Aliens then.
Statler and Waldorf: “Hey Piggy! Do you ever get mistaken for a man?”
Piggy: “No, do you?”
Statler and Waldorf: “OOOHHHH She got us!”
I was gonna say; if you cast Piggy in that movie it would be a tough call whether to let her play the lead (Ripley), the ass-kicking badass (Vasquez), or the literal alien Queen.
Piggy as the Alien Queen, Camilla as Vasquez, and Red Fraggle as Ripley?
I think this casting problem underscores the need for more female muppets. Most of the recognizable ones other than Miss Piggy are still under contract with Sesame Street.
The OG Muppets had Piggy, Janice, Annie Sue (the other pig), Camilla, and not much else. The lack of good female Muppet characters led to Skeeter in Muppet Babies.
Yeah, and while I’ve always been a fan of Janice I’m under no illusions about her ability to carry a leading role. At least we have The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance now.
