Man knows it's not smart to crack an 80-foot bullwhip, does it anyway

I can’t wait for the 100 footer

Let’s just all be thankful his name isn’t Dennis.

Unless it is and old tradition. Then you should make sure that you have plenty of bystanders. Ideally, very close.

Stupid cracker-assed cracker

I’ve heard tell that wielding the slaver whip is the origin of that term, but I’ve never looked into it enough to be sure

Guys.

I’m not saying it’s an excuse, but the dude is autistic. He’s not just some random “hold my beer” idiot. Check his YouTube channel(s).

Very good. We managed 7 comments before naming him in a topic completely unrelated to American politics. That’s definitely progress.

Guilty as charged, although if you are familiar with the work of Robert Maplewood, you know that there is a prior connection between bullwhips and famous New York assholes.

Yup, only the scientist didn’t have the benefit of proper technique.

Close. Maplethorpe. And that famous bullwhip photo NSFW was also a self-portrait.

LOL Cellphone autocorrect + early morning hour here in Hawaii = A Pornstar Style Name Typo
I’m pretty familiar with him, and for the record, don’t find him to be a famous asshole. He owned a rather well known one, however.

The thing that got me was he didn’t even try to sidestep after he’d started the whip going.

The first near-miss is kind of understandable if you didn’t think it through, but to stand still during the following two attempts? Especially the final one…

Also on a more general note: what is it with the ‘wearing shorts while doing something dangerous’ thing for youtubers? I see this frequently, be it with fire/chemicals/explosives and so on. Sometimes they’ll wear goggles, but bare legs and/or open sandals? Doesn’t even register as a risk apparently :stuck_out_tongue:

I have been subscribed to his channel(s) for a while as I enjoyed watching some of his vids (its almost fresh to see a channel without all that “click like and sbuscribe for more” at the end of videos).

I whipped plenty as a youngster and never put out even one eye. Pure blind luck. It falls in a class of things that are dangerous, but mishaps are infrequent enough that we don’t know to fear them. As I’ve gotten older, I actually fear and sometimes avoid car trips to the next town because I’m finally starting to realize I might kill or be killed vehicularly.
