If you do decide to give waxing a try, just don’t get your idiot buddy to do it like the video; recruit a lady-friend* who waxes her legs to help you do it the right way. For one thing, the wax should be laid on in strips one at a time and not allowed to harden (NOT a full head helmet). Also, your hair should be about 1/4" or so long. The results do last for quite a while and the ingrowth is soft, not stubbley.
Yes, it hurts, but not that bad and it’s brief.
*or man-friend, or they-friend. ie. someone who’s waxed before and actually knows what the hell they’re doing.
thanks for the advice. i think i’m too squeamish to even try this, though. i’ll stick to blindly scraping a ridiculously sharp, thin blade over my head.
