A Twitter user who worked at a video store said James Caan allowed Elliot Gould to rent movies on his account, saying something like “Aw to hell with it, let him do whatever he wants”
Just wanted to show both sides of the man, for fairness’ sake
Rule number one… Never rat on your friends and always keep your mouth shut.
I applaud seeing the best in people but the kharmic debt of asking a mobster to beat someone up might outweigh the kharmic lift you’d get for offering free video rentals for a friend.
