The right to drive for some man is more important than the safety of a girl who will never get to drive, because he killed her, or her father, who will never drive again because of the brain damage he caused by driving into them.

Car hegemony is real. This is not unusual behaviour on the part of the judge.

Interesting video. Visions of Arkady Renko popping in to find spare parts for his crappy Militsiya-assigned car.

10/10, would enjoy a city car with that style/visibiility.

 I wonder if they are pushing back expecting to see more progress on the Northeast Maglev project?

I appreciate the considerable crush-zone 'twixt the underpaid chauffer and the monied hoity-toity occupants. Proper socialist engineering!

Research about “the perception of danger” from a car insurance company. Lots of pearl clutching about scooters and cyclists. I’m sure their own data backs up the EU wide data showing it is car drivers who are a danger to themselves, other car users, pedestrians, cyclists, and other human beings on foot, wheelchair, pram etc. utterly overwhelmingly so. But yes “perception” is the important media piece for car hegemony.

But seriously, who buys a Corvette Z06 and doesn’t do burnouts before even leaving the dealership lot? Has GM never met Corvette owners?
