Although the No Face coin bank is a real thing, i suspect this to be an animation rather than a real rube-goldberg construction; beautifully made nonetheless.

Just sent this to Young Master Peas (on his 17th birthday!) and this was his response:

“Cool simulation. The (eta: sound of a) kalimba works as a vibraphone sound, but there would be nothing to dampen it, so the sustain would ruin it if it was physical.“

The kids are alright.

Indeed. The Algorithm keeps foisting them on me, many of which feature Lego contraptions along the way.

Delightful yes. Virtual: also yes. They’re a little too perfect (and infinite in an Escher endless stairwell way.)
