Musk and Zuck both have some serious issues of self-aggrandizing and dominance.
I am all for letting them fight - without anyone looking, that is, and without any media accompanying the bullshit. Just put them into a box, with a programmable lock which opens only if not a single person is looking.

Of course, Russian “oligarchs” haven’t wielded much political power either since Putin neutered them over a decade ago. Best I can tell, we just keep calling them that out of habit.
And here I thought you were taking umbrage at “American”, since most of us yankees think of him as South African.
Sure, he got spanked in San Francisco, but he rules his fiefdoms in Texas and elsewhere with impunity, and is so used to getting his way he seems genuinely confused when it doesn’t happen. So I stick by oligarch.

I’m for them fighting it out like this.
Would that all such thin-skinned assholes volunteer to put themselves in a cage, that we could then easily lock and forget.
The world would quickly see how little these “owners” contribute to these digital platforms and that the value is all in the technical experts, the community and talented content creators.
