“John Wayne Boulevard” and “Sexing the Informatic” are two potential band names I haven’t been able to get out of my head for 20 years.
The second could also be an album title for the first.

We do that too, along with the type of band it would be. The best one, and longest running gag is now a death metal band called “Jesus Fist”. It keeps running because any time someone says something really heinous and wrong, the game is to add “[horrible phrase], the new single/album from Jesus Fist!”

Although my band actually performed under that name once in highschool, so it’s kind of taken.
