I’d go a bit further and say that what Pelosi did was convince all the Democrats in Congress to do nothing together. No communication with Trump, no press releases/interviews/responses that said anything other than “we’re not negotiating until the government reopens”. I’m sure doing that was a lot harder than it looked.

He would only be interested in keeping something secret if exposing it would cost him money.

He never made much secret of his philandering but he sure does seem touchy about any investigation into his finances (and specifically any reporting that exposes his ineptitude as a business mogul).
Like the claim that he needed Russia’s help to win, the thing that really gets Trump’s blood boiling isn’t the revelation of acts most people would find shameful, it’s the revelation that he isn’t the one responsible for his own success.

Honestly, I would put me $200 against anyone’s $2 that Trump has abused underage girls at a property owned by Jeffrey Epstein. To me it’s more a fact than speculation. There was a victim who came forward who was backed up by an eye witness.
Yes, it’s easy to say she did nothing because she did do nothing. It’s just she did nothing when many others would have broken down and done something instead.
But I also think a lot of credit for ending the shut down should got to AOC. I think #WheresMitch probably did a lot to end it.
