I donā€™t know. This deluge of AI and other content farm clickbait rising to the top, even Markov chain written books flooding Amazon, is not in any sense new. Itā€™s been 20 years of it. And all it has led to is further attempts to outsource the selection of sources to opaque algorithms.

Capitalism is the problem, not technology. Capital disrupts - breaks - that which works but isnā€™t what it calls ā€œproductiveā€ā€ - ie providing returns to those who own the means of production through capital. It is replaced with something which may or may not work, but is ā€œproductiveā€. And which diminishes the power of labour.

Really thatā€™s all itā€™s about. Those who own capital at war on those who work.
