I wonder if that’s because of his reputation for non/partial payment? And before we blame the quality of his lawyers too strongly for this threat, I can easily imagine somebody at the firm rolling his eyes and mumbling “whatever” when Trump called them up and screamed “Sue the New York Times.”

Riiiiight. Because sexual harassment and sexual assault is an appropriate response to people you don’t like? Trump is a bombastic yet narcissistic fascist who brags about sexual assaulting women: the damage he has done to them will not be undone by sexually harassing and assaulting him, and rape culture certainly will not diminish by positing circumstances where sexual harassment and assault are “OK.”
