The two scenarios are similar only in that they involve a presidential election. Harris is not being seen as a “blah, centrist, good-enough-i-guess” candidate and Il Douche has shown his colors. He will not be confused with a blowhard that the adults in the room can control. Dems have a candidate that they are excited to vote for. I have not seen that since Obama. And that did work out pretty well.

The comment was meant to point out that polls are unreliable, take them with a grain of salt. Next time, I’ll be more specific.
It might have been wiser to just say that, then; rather than framing your comment with the focus on gender above all else.

I remember when Trump ran briefly as a Republican in 1987 - it didn’t end well. They all laughed at him.
I remember when Trump ran as a Reform Party candidate in 1999 - it didn’t end well. He lost to fucking Pat Buchanan!
I remember when Trump ran for reelection in 2020 - it didn’t end well. His ass was badly kicked.
